DTE is searching for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to lead a pivotal project within our dynamic team. We offer an engaging full-time role for a candidate who is not only seasoned in their field but also driven to enhance the testing and quality assurance processes of our cutting-edge LP-LIBSâ„¢ sensor technology equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for testing DTE’s liquid metal analyzers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of quality standards into development processes.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for testing, focusing on robotics control, embedded software, and hardware verification.
  • Work closely with product management, ensuring product requirements are met.
  • Participate in an Agile team consisting of software, QA, and DevOps engineers.
  • Contribute to applying rigorous testing on DTE’s products to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Design, execute, and manage test plans and strategies to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Document and report any defects or potential areas of improvement in the software development process.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.  
  • Experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.  
  • Knowledge or experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies. 
  • Experience with software engineering.   
  • Experience testing secure Embedded software for industrial applications.
