NetApp Iceland 15. Nov 2021 Fullt starf

NetApp Iceland is looking for a Software Tester to join our Reykjavik team to help accelerate the leadership of NetApp in Hybrid Cloud globally.

As a part of our engineering team, you will execute manual tests, implement integration tests and help with our automation efforts. Working closely with our development and SRE teams on deployment verifications, you’ll also assist with adding new components to our build pipeline and test suites (you’ll also get to break stuff in the clouds and be paid for it).

Job Summary

As a Software Tester at NetApp, you will work as an integrated part of a global team responsible for building and testing the leading software defined storage solutions and cloud storage solutions available in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud . As part of the Research and Development function, the overall focus of the group is on competitive market and customer requirements, technology advances, product quality, product cost, and time-to-market. Our software testers focus on incremental improvements to existing products as well as contributing tests and functional validation for new product development.

The key qualities a good software tester needs to have are the ability to brainstorm outside the box, the readiness to ask the uncomfortable questions when needed and an insatiable thirst for learning.
