As a Tern Software Engineer Specialising in Unreal Engine, you will put your expertise in Unreal Engine development to the test by creating immersive VR experiences and pushing the boundaries of realism in virtual airport environments.

As an ideal candidate, you have a professional understanding of software development processes, with a specific focus on Unreal Engine. You have a keen eye for detail and your problem-solving skills are also top-notch, enabling you to navigate technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, debug, test and review new software programs within Unreal Engine
  • Develop and maintain existing programs by identifying areas for modification
  • Write operational and technical documentation
  • Constantly update industry knowledge and skills

Professional requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine and Unreal specific coding, with great attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work ethic
  • Willingness to adapt to and learn new programming languages, technologies and development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, C++, Python and Blueprints
  • Experience with networking and replication
  • Good understanding of 3D asset creation
  • Experience with 3D modeling & generative tools
