Software Engineer in Product Development

As a Tern Software Engineer, you will design, implement, verify and deploy software systems functions and improvements. You will be working closely with experts to build innovative solutions to solve technical, real-world problems.

As an ideal candidate, you have a good understanding of software development processes. You are a team player with a keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and test new software programs, and participate in code reviews
• Develop and maintain existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification
• Write operational and technical documentation
• Constantly update industry knowledge and skills

Professional requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
• Collaborative, team-oriented work ethic
• Object-oriented programming skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to adapt to and learn new programming languages and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, C++, Qt, QML and Docker
• Experience in developing high availability systems and distributed systems
• Good understanding of software patterns and architecture
