Software Engineer in Product Development
As a Tern Software Engineer, you will design, implement, verify and deploy software systems functions and improvements. You will be working closely with experts to build innovative solutions to solve technical, real-world problems.
As an ideal candidate, you have a good understanding of software development processes. You are a team player with a keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, write and test new software programs, and participate in code reviews
- Develop and maintain existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification
- Write operational and technical documentation
- Constantly update industry knowledge and skills
Professional requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
- Collaborative, team-oriented work ethic
- Object-oriented programming skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to adapt to and learn new programming languages and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux, C++, Qt, QML and Docker
- Experience in developing high availability systems and distributed systems
- Good understanding of software patterns and architecture
