Tix.is is a ticketing company in Iceland, we handle ticket sales for all kind of events. Tix also has offices in Danmark, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, and the UK.

The tix.is website was officially opened on October 1st 2014 and has been and will be under constant development to meet the needs of both ticket buyers and event promoters.

In June 2017 Tix expanded to Scandinavia and then in January 2021 to Benelux, the UK, and Finland and we are selling around 6 million tickets per year in 7 countries.

We are looking for a couple of software developers to join our development team in Iceland with focus on further developing our ticketing platform.

Previous software work experience is not required, but motivated and passionate developers are a must!

Our main projects are 2 .NET MVC web applications, we also have multiple .NET REST APIs as well as some mobile applications (Flutter, Node.js). Our business requires us to integrate to many different 3rd party applications as well.

1. Experience in C# programming for both front end and back end in .NET MVC.

2. Good knowledge of javascript and front end web development (html, js, css, jquery).

3. Knowledge in MSSQL is preferred but not necessary.
