Software Developer, Integrations

Controlant is looking to hire experienced software developers to join our growing community in Controlant R&D. We are looking for creative and conscientious people interested in back-end server development with solid understanding of what is needed to develop successful customer facing APIs. This role is ideal for a sociable individual willing to learn and grow with us and to have an active hand in shaping the future of our already successful world-leading solutions for real-time monitoring of the global pharma and food supply chain.

Responsibilities

You will be developing software and customer-facing APIs that provide access to our world-leading real-time cold-chain monitoring solution. Our platform is currently being used by global companies in the pharmaceutical and food industry.

As a software developer in Integrations, you work within one of our Agile software development teams that are currently pursuing new and challenging projects related to an exciting new area of the Controlant Software-as-a-Service cloud platform. The Integrations team is working directly on building new functionality into the products, as well as working on improving existing features.

Desired skills

• A degree in Computing Science or a related field.

• Experienced software developer with several years professional industry experience.

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages and in-depth experience of at least one (C#, Java, Python, C++ or comparable).

• Interest in designing and implementing modern APIs.

• A sociable person that can work autonomously.

• A sense of self-motivation and a conscientious work ethic.

• The ability to collaborate well in a team environment.

• Good written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have

• A sensitivity to clients’ needs and an ability to develop warm client relationships.

• Ability to analyse and solve challenging and dynamic programming tasks.

• Experience working on and developing modern web-based APIs.

• Experience of working in a regulated environment such as pharma.
