We are searching for a software developer to join our eTrade team. The eTrade team is responsible for developing and maintaining a modern software platform responsible for the secure interchange of eOrders and eInvoices between businesses in Iceland and Europe. 

Our platform handles over half a million documents every month and contributes significantly to the reduction of the environmental footprint of sending invoices and orders between businesses. The eTrade platform works to fulfill the Peppol standard laid out by the European Commission to streamline information exchange on a global scale.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading the continued development and future direction of the Advania eTrade platform. Implementation of new standards and technologies to futher improve the transmission of information between accounting systems and electronic delivery of invoices, bills and orders. You would join a close nit product development team that follows the Scrum agile methodology and cooperates vertically across multiple other departments within the organization.

Desired skills

  • Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL and Java
  • Experience working with XML and XSLT/Xpath transformations
  • Experience programming in .NET and ASP.NET
