The Collect Card Acquiring team in Rapyd is looking for a Software Developer to join the Collect development teams in Iceland. These teams have been powering the rapid growth of volume and complexity within Rapyd’s acquiring business. Ahead are challenging times – we are currently sunsetting legacy applications, migrating accounts to optimize and harmonize our offering, and introducing new payment business models.

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
– Developing payment APIs and processing systems in C#
– Part of an experienced team improving and maintaining software framework
– Participating in software architectural design meetings
– Working in a highly collaborative environment, engaging with product owners, team leads, other development teams, and support staff

Requirements
– A degree in computer science, engineering or related subjects
– An experience with .NET/.NET Core development
– An experience with creating public APIs
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with good English skills
– Is open-minded, willing to learn, and positive toward new challenges.
