Quality Assurance Lead
As the ideal candidate, you are the architect of our quality strategy. You don’t just manage testing; you foster a culture of quality ownership and collaboration in your team; across disciplines; and across the entire product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the QA strategy, policies, and standards in alignment with our business and product objectives.
- Evolve our test automation strategy (integration, system, and end-to-end), ensuring it is maintainable, scalable, and integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead, support, and mentor the QA team through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, and individual development plans.
- Partner with Development, Product, and DevOps to proactively address quality risks and ensure release readiness.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and select modern test tools and frameworks, balancing effectiveness with long-term sustainability.
Professional Requirements
- At least 7–10 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering, including proven leadership in a senior role.
- A University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- ISTQB Certified Tester with a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern automation practices.
- A security and safety-first mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor a technical team while taking ownership of outcomes.
It is a plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems.
- Experience in safety-critical or regulated environments.
