Programmer

We’re looking for a full-time programmer!

Porcelain Fortress is a video game company, consisting of a band of romantics, located in the heart of Seltjarnarnes, Eiðistorg. We’re embarking on exciting new projects and are in need of a full-time programmer on site.

We’re a small and tight-knit team where each member can participate in all levels of development, from game-design to testing. Tired of being a tiny cog in a soul crushing corporate machine? Come join the company that chose a toilet as their logo!

Responsibilities
– Collaborate with project managers, UI/UX designers, artists and other developers to define and deliver software solutions.
– Test and deploy applications and systems.
– Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
– Revise, update, and refactor code as necessary.
– Develop games using the Unity editor.
– Participate in project meetings.

Requirements:
– Preferably 3+ years in the Gaming Industry.
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
– A strong passion for acquiring new skills in the gaming industry.
– Icelandic and/or English speaking.

Nice to have:
– 1+ year experience working in Unity.
– Knowledge of C#.
– Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
– Ability to work with Photoshop or similar programs.
– Has worked on online multiplayer systems.
