At Leviosa, we’re building a new generation of EHR (electronic health record) software, designed to reduce the 70% of healthcare professionals’ time currently spent behind computer screens and give them more time with their patients

Founded by a physician and driven by a team combining deep clinical insight with strong technical expertise, Leviosa is on a mission to streamline healthcare workflows and empower providers with smart, human-centered tools. We’re a growing team of 10 based in Smáratorg 3, Kópavogur, and we’re now looking for a Product Designer to join us on-site and take ownership of translating product ideas into exceptional design.

You will
– Create user-centric solutions: Prototype, validate and deliver user flows, interfaces and interactions that solve real problems for healthcare providers and patients.
– Champion design in product thinking: Contribute to product strategy discussions, bring design insights into early ideation and ensure design plays a central role in decision-making.
– Drive the design process: Own the journey from product concept to design-ready deliverables. Build and manage a design workflow in collaboration with the development and product teams.
– Take ownership of our design system: Including design boards, prototyping practices and design documentation standards.
– Work closely with the Product Owner to refine tasks, decide what’s ready for design, and ensure clear handover to development.
– Collaborate with purpose: Partner with FE developers to clarify what requires design input (and what doesn’t), giving the team strong and actionable design direction.

This role may suit you if you
– Have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design for digital products.
– Are comfortable working closely with product and development teams in a startup environment.
– Can manage your own work, set priorities and move projects forward independently.
– Are confident in speaking up, clarifying needs and creating structure and clarity for the team.
– Enjoy working hands-on with prototypes and design systems and know how to balance speed with quality.
– Are curious about how healthcare works and motivated to design tools that make a real impact.
– Know how to leverage AI tools (e.g., for prototyping/wireframing, design exploration or workflow acceleration) and are eager to integrate them into your work.
