Mobile application developer

We are looking for a qualified mobile application developer to join our engineering team. You will be working with our engineers to develop and maintain high-quality applications.

If you’re passionate about health, mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps that can guide our users towards a better life, we would like to meet you. As a SidekickHealth developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ultimately, you should be able to design and build the next generation of our web or mobile applications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Produce fully functional mobile applications with clean code
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Collaborate with the product development team to plan new features
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Stay current with new technology trends

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a web application or mobile developer
• Deep knowledge of at least one relevant programming language
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform both in a team environment and independently
• Experience working cross-functionally
• BSc degree in computer science or relevant field
• Fluency in written and spoken English
