Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a self-driven and analytical infrastructure engineer to join our team. If you are looking for a key role in a fast growing company, we should talk! As an infrastructure engineer you will have a big influence on our company’s technical platforms, it’ll be great!
You will be working with cutting-edge technology to build applications that will be used by thousands of customers on some of the highest value per purchase marketplaces in the world.

Duties and responsibilities

• Improving the development experience by enhancing development tools, test coverage, and/or code structure.
• Designing, developing, shipping, and maintaining features with guidance from more experienced engineers.
• Implementing code that is clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others
• Improving the development experience by enhancing development tools, test coverage, and/or code structure.
• You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of your code: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements.
• Performing code reviews that follow the standards and practices of the engineering handbook and that are recognised by their team as helpful

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience

• Cloud technologies (such as AWS, GCP, Azure, …)
• Build tooling (Bazel, Pants, …)
• Automation tools (such Terraform, Cloudformation, …)
• Microservices Architecture (think Kubernetes, Docker, Services Meshes, Distributed Services, Tracing, …)
• Event Streaming platforms (such as Kafka, Kinesis, …)
• Relational database systems (such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, …)
