Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of IT to oversee all IT operations and services across Travel Connect brands. You will lead a small team of IT specialists, ensuring seamless technology operations and robust security. This role requires close collaboration with other executive leaders to align technology initiatives with business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and executing the IT strategy.
  • Overseeing IT infrastructure and operations, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ensuring strong cybersecurity measures and responding to security incidents.
  • Providing technical support to employees.
  • Managing software development and system integration.
  • Aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Encouraging innovation through technology.
  • Leading and managing the IT support team.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders and departments.

You’d Be Great for This Role If You Have

  • A relevant degree or you have extensive industry experience as an IT Manager.
  • A proven track record in managing IT projects.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and IT risk management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimising IT spending.
  • Proficiency in Icelandic and English.
