Ankeri is a growing software company within the international maritime industry and recently got the prestige SMM Maritime Startup Award for 2022. Our customers are some of the largest shipping companies in the world and our mission is to leverage smart use of data to increase their productivity and performance and help them on the path towards decreasing their carbon footprint.

We are looking for a software developer with experience in Python and web development. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is business driven, enjoys working closely with customers and wants to be a part of a team that is making a significance in digitalising the shipping industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and other relevant technologies
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices and help to continuously improve the development process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Strong experience in Python and web development (such as Flask and Django)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A self-starter mentality, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results
