Acquiring Specialist

Rapyd is looking for an Acquiring Specialist for its Collect Card Acquiring Division (CCAD).

Collect Card Acquiring Division handles operations, support, maintenance and technical implementations of Rapyd‘s core Card Acquiring Processing systems, including high-availability APIs that power the company‘s efforts to provide seamless acquiring services to merchants and partners throughout Europe.

Rapyd Collect Card Acquiring consists of agile development teams and an Operations team located in Rapyd‘s Icelandic office.

Responsibilities

• Help fix production issues and support the operations
• Supports software developers in improving operational environment
• Responsible for helping DevOps set up systems
• Monitors the support queue and assigns tickets
• Monitors that the system are operating correctly
• Responsible for change management execution
• Responsible for stepping in if systems are not operating normally
• Support users with system problems

Requirements

• Has a university degree in computer science, engineering or related subjects
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to design, create, and manipulate data using SQL
• Can identify problems, brainstorm and analyze answers, and implement the best solutions
• Is open-minded and willing to learn
• Has great English skills, spoken and written.
• Is positive towards new challenges
