50skills is transforming how employers onboard new hires.

It is used by thousands of managers in high-turnover industries ranging from retail, hospitality, ready-made-food, tech and transportation to reduce the timeframe between onboarding and employees actively fulfilling their roles.

It accomplishes this by centralizing employee data, eliminating repetitive data entry tasks across multiple systems, and integrating with the tools and services employers already use.

  • Deeply understand the challenges in hiring and onboarding new employees in order to provide outstanding consultation to existing and prospective customers on how they can streamline their hiring and onboarding processes
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
  • Nurture and create, strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Communicate client statuses with monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement
  • Identify and grow opportunities
  • Provide consultancy for new and existing clients with regards to their internal 50skills processes
  • Assist clients with challenging requests
  • Forecast and track sales and client account metrics
  • Onboard new clients into the 50skills product


  • Previous experience with sales and account management
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record in sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Icelandic and English
  • Excellent in communication, in person, email, remotely or over the phone
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Positive and helping attitude
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience creating sales and marketing materials
  • Experience with HR related software e.g. recruiting, onboarding or payroll
  • Experience with international communication
