Software Quality Assurance Engineer

WOW Labs is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our software quality assurance and test processes. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work with our software- and product development teams to help them deliver outstanding, high-quality software.

We are in the process of introducing and performing continuous testing of our software throughout the development process and integrate these into our continuous delivery processes where we deploy to production systems frequently. As a QA engineer you can make a great impact on our products, how we work and the overall online experience of WOW Air.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in specifying and evolving our QA and testing processes
• Coordinate, plan, prioritize and execute testing activities
• Create and maintain test cases with product development team
• Design and develop automation scripts
• Identify and track software bugs and defects
• Implement and track quality assurance metrics

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Previous experience of software development, software testing and quality assurance
• Solid scripting knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Hands-on, up-to-date experience with automated testing tools
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing
• BSc/MSc in computer science or related fields (or equal experience)
