Project Manager – Web Development and Digital Solutions

We are seeking a talented and result-orientated project manager to join our Web & Marketing team. The ideal candidate has experience from an e-commerce environment, leading projects that include communication with web developers and designers.

The main responsibility involves project management of large-scale projects in web development and digital solutions.

Nordic Visitor is a travel agency which operates in 9 countries, with local offices in Reykjavik, Stockholm and Edinburgh. Since launching our first booking site in 2004 we’ve had customers from around the world, who have all found, booked and paid for our services online.

Upcoming projects for the Web & Marketing team include large-scale projects like agent login, real-time inventory on products, customer login, a new sub-branded booking website and a travel app.

Do you have the ambition to lead some of these projects in the coming months and years?

Main assignments

• Project management of web development and digital projects, including communication with developers and designers
• Exploring new ways and taking initiative for new digital solutions
• Analysing and testing our websites
• Working in teams within the department and company

Requirements

• Experience in leading large-scale web and/or software projects
• Experience working in an e-commerce environment
• Decision-making based on facts and numbers, not feelings
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good English skills
