iOS Developer – Swift Programmer

Hi Fellow Developer!

We’re a well funded Icelandic startup working on a new and exciting project… Currently being a small team we aim to expand steadily over coming weeks, our focus is to create a friendly and encouraging environment where people really want to work.

You’ll be a critical member of a small engineering team working on our new iOS app. Our codebase is written entirely in Swift with modern design patterns and coding standards. We rely on 3rd party libraries and contribute back to the community.

What you’ll do {

   // Contribute to our app written in Swift
   // Implement advanced animations
   // Integrate with our backend services
   // Improve quality with unit tests, automation and reviews
   // Participate in brainstorming sessions
   // Tackle difficult problems and successfully deliver results

Who we’re looking for {

   // Swift, Objective-C and iOS experts
   // 1+ years of experience with iOS SDK
   // Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving skills
   // Solid MVC, MVVM, Protocol-Oriented design and OOP skills
   // Cares deeply about creating an outstanding user experience
   // Self-motivated and finds satisfaction in a job well done
   // Gets excited by tough technical challenges

Bonus points if you have {

   // B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
   // Deep knowledge of Swift
   // Reactive and/or Functional programming knowledge
   // Used Swift on Linux
   // Scary amazing wizard debugging skills
   // A github account with some cool projects in it
   // Experience with Interface Builder and Auto Layout
   // Experience with web technologies
   // Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting languages
