Data Engineer

Controlant is looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team of data analytics experts. We are looking for a generalist with a pipeline-centric experience that can take the lead in developing our AWS cloud-based data analysis architecture and pipelines. Other responsibilities include supporting data driven initiatives, such as developing dashboards, and having a hand in developing reports that provide actionable insights into our customers’ operational efficiency.

Working at Controlant

On a daily basis, a team of 30 R&D professionals is working actively on the development of Controlant’s hardware and software and directly contribute to the success of our company. Development takes place in autonomous and interdisciplinary product teams that build solutions following Agile development methodologies and rely on modern application lifecycle management systems. Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain Controlant’s cloud-based data processing architecture.

• Data acquisition and aligning our architecture with business needs.

• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Have a hand in developing dashboards, reports, and other visualizations for customers.

Desired Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or another related field.

• Several years of professional experience in an industry-related field.

• Practical knowledge of database systems and data architectures.

• Solid programming experience (e.g. C#, Java, Python, and C++).

• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.

• Experience with BI tools and data visualizations.

• Team player with excellent collaboration skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharma is a plus.
