Core Developer

Videntifier is a growing high-tech company that provides high-speed image and video identification solutions. Our technical breakthrough is a patented large-scale visual fingerprinting search engine that can index and search through millions of hours of video content, and billions of images. We have mainly been serving the forensic/security market and are now also entering other markets.

We are looking for a HIGHLY motivated core developer that knows how to get things done quickly and efficiently.

All applicants selected for interview are subject to various tests, including programming skill evaluation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work on developing and deploying new features and capabilities in our core products, including:
  • Our patented and state of the art high-dimensional database technology
  • Our visual fingerprinting technology
  • Our visual identification platform
• Contribute to the scaling and ongoing performance of the platform, services and APIs.

Besides being highly motivated, we are looking for someone that has:

• BS/MSc degree in Computer Science and 2+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to quickly pick up any skills necessary to become productive in a project. Regardless of language, libraries, architecture etc.
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software development patterns.
• Knowledge of best practices of software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Additionally, we love to see experience in the following areas:

• C++, golang & javascript. The languages that make up our current stack.
• Distributed systems. Scaling a system upto global reach with intense throughput.
• Computer vision. Both image/video processing and machine learning.
• Low-level HD/SSD programming and cache optimization.
• GPU programming. (Especially in relation to computer vision).
• Domain knowledge in the film and media or security industries.
