Client Systems Administrator

Novomatic Lottery Solutions (NLS) in Iceland is looking for a talented Client Systems Administrator to join our Operations Team.

YOUR TASKS

The Client Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of one or more customer environments, software applications and security services. The Operations Team ensures system availability to customers where security and quality is highly important.

• Monitor the ongoing operation and performs activities to assist with performance tuning, troubleshooting of hardware, OS and application issues
• Assists in the building, testing and implementation of client systems
• Maintains appropriate documentation on procedures and configurations
• Assists in the management and operation of the NLS hosted services
• Assists in the implementation of security policies and procedures, along with investigation and resolution of incidents, to ensure a stable computing environments

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
• Good Linux knowledge and Red Hat Certification desirable
• Good understanding of Virtualization technology (VMware)
• Good knowledge of Puppet/Foremen or other configuration management tool
• Experinece of enterprise grade system administration
• Understanding of computer networking and security
• Organized and disciplined work ethic
• Strong initiative and problem solving skills.
• Solid English skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest to learn as well as share knowledge and ideas with co¬workers.
